Bibles

Service begins at 11am on Sunday, and generally lasts until noon.

Sunday at 9:45am, throughout the week, and online

We believe that relationships are important.  They help us to grow in our lives, and provide a safe place to ask questions, and to encourage each other.

Relationships are nurtured at FBC Marathon through small groups of people getting together to talk about God, ask questions, and get to know one another.

We have small groups of people of all ages meeting Sunday mornings at the church at 9:45am (traditionally called “Sunday School”), at different times throughout the week (including evenings and days), and even online!

Through RightNow Media, we can host small group discussions based on an online video Bible study.  In fact, all visitors have an opportunity to join in this kind of a group from their very first Sunday!  It is a great, low-pressure way to learn, ask questions, and get to know our church.

Sunday School

We have great kids programs on Sunday morning, beginning at 9:45am during the “Sunday School” hour for all ages (up through high school), and continuing through the 11am service a special age-appropriate class for ages 3 to 5 and kids church for elementary school kids.

Teen Club
Sunday at 5:30 pm

We have a fun game or activity and then have a lesson which connects with where teens are in their lives.  We have taken mission trips to Mexico and Montana, helped with flood relief in the Binghamton area and locally, go to a corn maze each October, have a huge contingent going to the Word of Life “Reverb” (formerly “Super Bowl”) each November, sing Christmas carols at nursing homes each December, and have a ski trip to Greek Peak each winter. Teen Club is the place to be!
